Giving you a competitive edge for your business

To help ARHCA members get the best possible competitive premiums for your workforce benefit programs, we have partnered ARHCA Associate Member Unistar Special Risks Inc to offer an association group program. Unistar Inc is an 80-year-old international company specializing in association coverage. ARHCA’s new program is called Foundations Employee Benefits.

Taylor-made plans

Foundations is your portal to competitive pricing on health, dental, disability and life insurance coverage plus added services. The Foundations program is set up for flexibility so you can tailor your plan easily for your workforce needs.

Many ARHCA Members (especially small to mid-sized companies) will see savings by joining Foundations because of the competitive pricing offered to a large pool of members. There is no obligation or fee for obtaining quotes from any provider. To get a free quote, ask your benefits provider to call, because of the complexity of options, the advice of a good advisor is essential.

Here's how it works

Ask your benefits advisor or insurance agent to contact Unistar Inc. 403-297-0252, 1-800-292-9066 or at to get a Foundations quote...

Getting value for your ARHCA membership

This is the first affinity partner program the ARHCA has offered Members in many years. While our focus is advocating for industry and our top service is providing critical industry market intelligence to Members, we continue to look for new services to provide to you to increase the value of your participation in our association.

Saving while supporting advocacy for your industry

By joining the Foundations Employee Benefits program, you will have access to the best premiums. The ARHCA receives a marketing fee from our partner based on the number of Members participating in Foundations. That means you will be supporting the ARHCA in our advocacy for our industry.

Adding more bang for your buck

Additional services and products related to employee benefits are available.  As new components are available, we will keep our promotions current.

It's tough to attract and retain good workers in Alberta. For company owners, costs are rising and margins are shrinking, and wages are already high. That’s why good benefits plans are a bonus in attracting and keeping good people.

For employees, only 15 per cent of health-related costs for a construction worker family are due to workplace incidents and covered by WCB. A comprehensive insurance and health benefits program gives peace of mind to workers and their families.

As a business owner, you know that health, dental and insurance plans can be costly. Shopping around for a plan takes time that most owners don’t have. The variation in plan options and details makes it hard to know if you are getting good value for what you pay.
