Equipment Rental Rate Guides & Membership Listings. ARHCA’s Equipment Rental Rates Guide & Membership Listings is used by thousands of companies as Alberta’s standard for equipment rental rates, as well as a comprehensive quick reference for industry contacts. Every year, a complete catalogue of new equipment models is added, and an expert ARHCA team calculates rates using the latest data and a mechanism to reflect changes in market forces.
Daily Tenders Report. The daily tenders database helps you keep track of projects that are available for bid across Alberta and Saskatchewan and contract winners on recent projects. This also includes a weekly plan holder list for Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors (TEC) jobs to let you know who is interested in bidding.
Advocacy and Government Relations. Keep up on what’s new with the industry and your association. ARHCA’s CEO sends out regular updates about industry issues and ongoing government relations.
Western Canada Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association (WCR&HCA) Advocacy. The WCR&HCA consists of four Western Canada roadbuilder associations: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Together, we advocate regionally and federally for strategic transportation infrastructure investment plans to ensure trade – more than 65% of Canada’s economy – moves efficiently and seamlessly. Learn more about the WCR & HCA.
Canadian Construction Association (CCA) Membership. The CCA harnesses the power of 18,000 members as a united force driving progress in the industry and a national voice that resonates, ensuring provincial insights and concerns directly influence the future of construction in Canada. Business Development and Networking. The ARHCA hosts events across Alberta to help members build their business networks. These include golf tournaments, networking sessions, and industry forums to discuss industry concerns and challenges with our CEO , industry and government leaders, and subject matter experts.
Annual Convention and EXPO. Every November, the ARHCA hosts the Annual Convention & Expo. This highly anticipated event provides members with the opportunity to hear briefings from top officials, attend education sessions, see the latest innovations, and develop new industry contacts.
Educational Seminars. The ARHCA offers technical and professional development opportunities tailored to meet the changing needs of the industry. Sessions generally include: Partnering sessions with other associations; the City of Edmonton; and, the City of Calgary; safety and technical forums; industry trend webinars; and project updates.
Industry Tools & Training. BC Roadbuilders Asphalt Index, Silica Live Tool, and the Roadbuilders Safety Training System (RSTS).

The Alberta Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association (ARHCA) has nearly 700 member companies across the province, including contractors, suppliers, consulting engineers, and municipalities.
 
As Canada’s largest heavy civil construction association, the ARHCA has approximately 60,000 member workers who construct, maintain, and rehabilitate roads, bridges, sewers, water systems, and other infrastructure for residential commercial, oilfield, energy, and forestry projects.
